THREAT OF MLM

  • The matter being brought to your notice is a very serious one and deserves your immediate attention and urgent corrective steps.
  •  Our country, India is under a serious threat – not from across the borders but from within and nobody either in the government or the security agencies is aware of this.
  •  Neither our military nor the total strength of our paramilitary military and other security forces cannot save us from the impending threat leading to economic slavery and social disorder as the threat is from within and it is in form of Multi Level Marketing (MLM) or the pyramid Schemes.
  •  Just to show the tip of the ice berg, the IMF has recent report said that the government of Albania almost collapsed following civil riots that killed more than 2,000 people and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka virtually collapsed only because of these pyramid schemes.
  •  Lot of countries across the world including USA, Canada, China, Australia and many more countries in Europe, South America and Asia have long identified the threat and banned them.
  •  The magnitude of the problem is such that more than one lakh crores of rupees is being looted silently every month and is siphoned off from across the border to foreign countries while all our enforcement agencies are in deep slumber.
  •     From Andhra Pradesh alone, more than Rs.15,000 crores a month is being looted from the innocent and gullible people, interestingly while State government is struggling for funds.
  •           There are more than 2,000 MLM companies in Hyderabad alone and their number exceeds 10,000 in the entire state and their number would be in lakhs in the country as every city and every state in the country is afflicted with this pest.
  • Multi Level Marketing “business” is an “Organised Mafia” that made deep inroads even into rural India and is devouring lakhs of people by exploiting the closed knitted fabric of our society.
  •  House wives, Unemployed youth, School and collage drop-outs, Small time Politiciations, people occupying powerful positions, and economically wrecked middle class are targeted and falling prey to these schemes which are promoted in the name of “Family Business” and “Good Business Opportunity” and “part-time business”.
  • Interestingly, although the activities of all such companies attract the provisions of the prohibitive law “The Prize Chits and Money Circulation (Banning) Act, 1978, a central act and High courts of various states have time and again declared the activities of such con companies are illegal, thousands of such companies are springing up everyday because of the callous and negligent attitude of the law enforcing agencies.
  • Lot of multinational companies like “Amway” which is the mother of all such MLM companies apart from indigenous companies are into this “cheating” business unless the activities of Amway are stalled it is very difficult to stall such other companies.
